Tamara and Michaels Wedding at Jenolan Caves 11.8.12

After driving to Jenolan Caves through snow the day before their wedding, Tamara and Michael woke up the Saturday morning of their special day to find a crisp and sunny blue sky awaiting them.

Not a touch of nervousness for either of them as I photographed the boys first, then off to see Tamara and the girls! The ceremony was planned for 3.15 pm in the Lucas Cave, and started to a lightshow  for the guests as the cave rose from  darkness to its true glory as Tamara walked down the aisle. Michael was so overwhelmed to see her he had to look away for a moment before a huge smile came over his face.  Their smiles never disappered for the entire day from the moment they saw each other! After the ceremony we walked through the cave to get a few photos in spots they both loved with the bridal party. We then came out and had some more photos taken down by the Pool of Reflections and then to Carlotta’s Arch. On coming back to Caves House, they all walked into a huge round of cheering family and friends for their reception, and the night began.  I must say this was one reception where everyone enjoyed themselves and no one left early.

Its clear to see from the fantastic bridal party, to the two sets of parents and extended family and friends, that these two are amazing together and have a wonderful future ahead of them! The whole experience of meeting Tamara and Michael and photographing their wedding was one I will never forget…and in such a magical place as Jenolan Caves!
